A LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about your temporary inbox.

Getting started

What is a temporary email address?

A temporary email address is a short-lived inbox for receiving messages without sharing your everyday email address. It can be useful for one-time sign-ups, trying a service, or testing email delivery.

How do I create an address?

Open the homepage and an address is created automatically. Click Copy beside the address or in the controls, then paste it into the email field on the website you are using. No account registration is required here.

How do I read incoming messages?

Keep the homepage open. The inbox checks for new messages every five seconds. Select a message to open its contents, or use Refresh to check immediately.

Can I send emails?

No. This service receives email; it does not provide a compose or send feature.

Managing your inbox

How long does my address last?

Check the expiry time displayed beneath your address. The lifetime depends on the service configuration. Save any information you need before that time, as expired inboxes become unavailable publicly. Administrators can review retained records until they are manually deleted.

What is the difference between Change and Delete?

Change creates a fresh address and switches your browser to it. Delete removes the current inbox and then creates a new address. Neither button is an undo action, so save anything you need first.

Will my inbox stay when I reload the page?

The current address is saved in your browser?s local storage. When you return, the page tries to restore that inbox if it is still available. Clearing browser data, using a different browser, or switching to private browsing can prevent it from being restored.

Can I recover a deleted inbox or its messages?

There is no recovery feature in this app. Deleted messages cannot be recovered through this app. Expired records remain available only to administrators; and use a regular email account for anything you need to keep.

Delivery and troubleshooting

Why has my email not arrived?

Delivery can take a little time. Confirm that the sender used the exact address currently shown, then click Refresh. Some websites block temporary email domains. If delivery still fails, the sending service or this service?s email provider may be experiencing a problem.

Can I receive a verification email?

This inbox can receive verification emails when the sending service accepts the address and delivers the message. Delivery is not guaranteed, and some services require a permanent email address.

Why can?t I create an inbox?

Check your internet connection and reload the page. If the error continues, the service may be temporarily unavailable. An inbox can only be created when the server and its database are reachable.

Why does the Copy button not work?

Your browser may block clipboard access. You can select the address and copy it manually. Automatic copying generally requires a secure connection (HTTPS) or a local development address.

Privacy and sensible use

Should I use this address for important accounts?

Use a permanent, secure email address for banking, personal records, important accounts, and anything that might need a password reset later. Temporary inboxes are not designed for long-term access.

Is my inbox protected by a password?

No. This app does not require an inbox login, and knowing an address can allow access to its messages. Do not treat the address as a private, password-protected mailbox or use it for sensitive information.

Does temporary email make me anonymous?

A separate address lets you avoid sharing your primary email with a website. It does not guarantee anonymity or prevent websites and service providers from collecting other information.

Can I use an inbox to test my own app?

Yes. You can use a temporary address to check registration emails, notifications, and message formatting during development. Keep real customer data and other sensitive information out of test messages.

Ready for a fresh inbox?

Your next temporary address is just a click away.
